The vice president of dar petroleum Dominic Majok has donated motorcycle and smart phones to the most popular guitarist vision impaired local talented artist Matur Bil Mayuom in Rumbek, Lakes State.

He began his musical journey in 2007 using Dinka language to depict love and vices within the community.
Matur Bil Mayuom said that his life and that of his family will significantly improve since the entire family budget will depend on the donated motorcycle while his own survival will depend on the use of his guitar.
He also urges the vice president of dar petroleum Dominic Majok to offer similar gifts to other vulnerable artists in Lakes State
“My name is Matur Bil from Pacong Payam, Rumbek East county, first of all I would like to appreciate and give my special thanks to former governor of Lakes State, Engineer Chol Tong Mayay”. He said.
Nelson Ater Madol Ater, who handed over Motorcycle to the Artist, said he thanks everyone that came to support people like Matur Bil.
” We have been receiving different gifts from different people which is good even if the gift is small but we take it in a good heart and that’s what we want”, he said.
He said he was sent by general Dominic Majok, the dar petroleum vice president to go and get where there are motorbikes- Baja so that I handed over to vision impaired local guitarist artist Matur Bil officially.
