Army personals on Wednesday paid their respect to Late Gen Majur Dak during state burial.
South Sudan government laid to rest Lt. Gen. David Majur Dak at the Heroes Cemetery at Simba Grounds in Juba on Wednesday with full Honors and a 21-gun salute.
General Majur was killed by White Army in Nasir County of Upper while he was a Brigade Commander of South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF) in the area.
The burial of the military hero attracted massive attendance that comprises of government officials such as Vice Benjamin Bol Mel, Vice President Rebecca Nyandeng De Mabior among others.
Defense Minister Chol Thon, Chief of Defense Forces and many other generals as well men and women in uniform also attended to give their respect and show love.
South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir Mayardit while announcing the death of General Majur on National Television during the time of the incident, termed late Majur as hero that died on duty.
He called for calm and caution Citizens never to take law into their hands adding that the government remain committed to control the crisis in Nasir.
Meanwhile on Wednesday during the Burial of late Majur, many government officials made a similar call.
