Vice President appealed to land commissioner to assist church with land for development

The vice president of the republic of South Sudan has urged the commissioner of Central Equatoria State to assist the African Ireland Church with the pieces of land.

Speaking to the Congregation during the Mass at AIC on Sunday, the VP Josephine Ladu calls the commissioner of Central ES for a Help the church.

“I would like to appeal to the commissioner on behave of the church for an offer to this church, this church is very small church we are runningschool, and services here, we are looking for a bigger venue elsewhere”, Josephine said.

“I want to assure you governor, this church is a small church but is a church with a big board, is a church where I come to meet with my God and it’s a church where I come to receive myspiritually renewals and healing”, she said.

Josephine noted that, this country will not develop until the government work together, the church lays the moral and spiritually foundation to the country and the government uphold the rule of law.

“We are fortunate because the communities in central Equatorial state are homogeniesbecause they are speaking the same language more specially Bari speakers, each county can listen a language other county”, she cited.

Meanwhile the governor of Central Equatoria State Rabi Mujung Emmanuel, requested the Congregation of the AIC to pray for the Government of South Sudan and in order to open the new chapter.

“When I was appointed as the governor of Central Equatoria State, I realized we don’t have public rallies these days, so that we come together and the leaders to communicate to them, others don’t follow the messages of government through the media, and TV that is why I visit every church to communicate to youthe messages of our government,” Mujung stated.

“I request our pasters, our congregation, to pray for us, pray also to our government and to support us, as a request for us to open a new chapter, the time has come for us to advance this country,” he appeals.

Rabi stated that they have dedicated their lives, with all the sacrifices for the peace, security and unity of this country, and it’s the top priorities of the government.

“We pour blood because of our country, we want all the citizens of South Sudan who run out from this country to come back, its 11 years after independence their no freedom, people are still killing themselves,” he said.

“Its not only the government that can do it duty to protect it people, and it’s also your duty as citizens to roles, not government alone to maintain and restore this peace, it requires our collective effort and responsibility as the citizens of this country,” he echoed.

“I appeal all the denominations to preach to the believers that times has come, that government of central Equatoria need peace, security and unity of the citizens and together we can make it,” Rabi added
