“The bombardment devastated the area 20 people have been killed including sub-chief and many are injured” Gatluak said.

The Commissioner pointed figures at the South Sudan Peoples’ Defense Forces(SSPDF) and the Uganda Peoples Defense Forces(UPDF) to be behind the aerial bombing of the Nasir towns.
He claimed that the before bombing the area, series of drones were seen in sky in Nasir town.

“Those one killed included two women and two children, it is very sad” he added.

“Instead of waging war against the civilian and civilian against the government forces, we all need to sit down and dialogue and end then misunderstanding” he appeals.

The commissioner urged the national government to find a solution and establish lasting peace in the country.

He called on the citizens in the country to love one another and preach peace in the country.
On separate statement government spokesperson Michael Makuei Lueth admitted the bombardment of Nasir town by the forces citing that it was targeted on White army bases in Nasir town.

Makuei warned the white army and called them to vacate necessary town and go back to their villages.

The government spokesperson also called on civilians to leave the area, which has been declared a military zone, and stated that the White Army, which pretends to be civilians while fighting against the government, must return to their homes and barracks before any further action is taken.

“Any civilian who is in the military zone and refusing to leave that military zone will be treated accordingly,” he warned.
