The director of the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission in Bor County, Jonglei State has been suspended for one week.
The suspension was announced by the County Commissioner, Ghai Mahkor Leek on Thursday.
He said the director of RRC Ayuen Kuer Riak will face investigations after the suspension period elapses.
In the order, commissioner Makhor stated that the director was suspended for rejecting the relocation of the county headquarters to Baidit.
He blamed Ayuen for refusing to be part of the assessment team for the comprehensive report to humanitarian agencies for possible assistance.
Commissioner Mahkor further stated that the RRC director also refused to acknowledge him as his immediate supervisor leading to his suspension.
He also accused the RRC director of not sharing information about the assets donated to the county by the Catholic Relief Service. (CRS)
The suspension took effect on 5th June and will end on the 12th June 2025.
