Central Equatoria State(CES) secretary of Engineering Cooperation Nelson Leju resigned citing Nepotism.

According to the resignation letter addressed to CES  governor, Leju announced his resignation.
“I am writing to formally announce my resignation as secretary of the CentraL Equatoria state Engineering Corporation” he said in the statement.

He blamed the government for appointing friends claiming that such appointment are not base on competence hence leading to poor performances.

“Your Administration worked with pattern of nepotism that prioritizes familial connection over meritocracy, compromising the integrity and effectiveness of the governance” he said.

CES is the host state for capital Juba, it is head governor Augustino Jadalla.

He claimed that the state governor made the engineering corporate ineffective despites it vital role as mandated by the law.

Legu claimed that due to nepotism, able and experience have been left out while the government continue to appoint friends.

However, in respond to the above allegations, Simon Whake Wudu press secretary in the office of the Governor Augustino Jadalla refuted the claims.

He expressed that the governor has no influence in the appointment adding that the appointees are vetted by whole state government and concern institution.

Whake expressed that any employment is under Ministry of labor adding that all employees in the state passed through required processes.
