South Sudan’s win today was a statement as they continue to dominate against any team that they play against. In contrast the last encounter between the Bright Stars and DRC, SSD triumph over their opponents by a whooping 89:58 Points.

South Sudan’s standout performance today hardens their position in the afrobasket qualifiers thank to the formidable effort and debut of a handful new talented players and the stern leadership of the Luol Deng. Currently, South Sudan has been ranked among the top on the continent.

Meanwhile, DRC, despite the loss, has already secured their qualification for the AfroBasket finals, having gone undefeated in their earlier matches during this window. Both teams continue to compete fiercely, with South Sudan aiming to maintain their elite status and DRC looking to build on their qualification success.
