Vice President Dr. Benjamin Bol Mel has called on South Sudanese citizens and government institutions to fully support Hon. Adut Salva Kiir in her role as Senior Presidential Envoy for Special Programs.

Bol described her appointment as a reflection of President Salva Kiir Mayardit’s commitment to placing capable leaders in critical national roles.

Receiving Hon. Adut for a courtesy visit on Wednesday, Dr. Bol Mel congratulated her on the appointment and underscored the importance of translating the President’s special programs into tangible benefits for the people.

“I urge the people of South Sudan to extend their full support to the Senior Presidential Envoy,” the Vice President said.

He further emphasized that her distinguished record in humanitarian and community service makes her uniquely positioned to succeed in this role.

During the meeting, the Vice President highlighted the need for coordinated action across government clusters to ensure swift and effective implementation of the President’s initiatives.

He pledged the full collaboration of the Economic Cluster and called on other clusters to rally behind Hon. Adut’s mandate.

Dr. Bol Mel said that under her leadership, the President’s vision will reach every household, improving public services, strengthening livelihoods, and creating new opportunities for communities across the country.

The visit reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring that special programs are executed efficiently and that capable leaders, like Hon. Adut, are empowered to make a meaningful difference in the lives of South Sudanese citizens.
