The South Sudan ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ง๐ World Health Organization (๐๐๐) have ๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐งed ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง H๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐ฌ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐ข๐ง the country.
According to the statement obtained from Ministry, the two institutions inked the agreement on Wednesday with hope to strengthen their existing efforts in improving health services in the country.
โWe are thrilled to announce that the National Ministry of Health has officially signed an output agreement with the World Health Organization (WHO) as a key step in Health Sector Transformation Project (HSTP)โ the statement partly read.
According to the statement, the agreement which was signed at the Ministryโs official offices has marked a significant milestone by the Ministry and the partners in strengthening healthcare across South Sudan.
Dr. Annin Ngot Ngot the undersecretary in the Ministry of Health emphasized that the agreement will greatly expand access to essential health and nutrition services, enhance stewardship in the health sector, and fortify overall health system.
โWe express our heartfelt gratitude to the WHO for partnering with Ministry of Health in delivering the vital outputs of this agreement. Together, we are dedicating ourselves to improving health outcomes for all citizensโ he said.
