WHO and Ministry of Health signs output agreement to strengthen health sector

The South Sudan ๐Œ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‡๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐š๐ง๐ World Health Organization (๐–๐‡๐Ž) have ๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐งed ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐š๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ง H๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐ฌ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐ข๐ง the country.

According to the statement obtained from Ministry, the two institutions inked the agreement on Wednesday with hope to strengthen their existing efforts in improving health services in the country.

โ€œWe are thrilled to announce that the National Ministry of Health has officially signed an output agreement with the World Health Organization (WHO) as a key step in Health Sector Transformation Project (HSTP)โ€ the statement partly read.

According to the statement, the agreement which was signed at the Ministryโ€™s official offices has marked a significant milestone by the Ministry and the partners in strengthening healthcare across South Sudan.

Dr. Annin Ngot Ngot the undersecretary in the Ministry of Health emphasized that the agreement will greatly expand access to essential health and nutrition services, enhance stewardship in the health sector, and fortify overall health system.

โ€œWe express our heartfelt gratitude to the WHO for partnering with Ministry of Health in delivering the vital outputs of this agreement. Together, we are dedicating ourselves to improving health outcomes for all citizensโ€ he said.
